My favorite Rihanna album. My favorite. This album is just SO much good music. I knew it would be. People criticize Rih for putting albums out every year (conveniently forgetting that Stevie and the Beatles used to do the same thing), but I knew she was onto something and now she’s given us this. Something that shows both attitude and vulnerability. Something that shows both artistic growth and brand consistency. It’s real. It’s mature. It’s cohesive. It’s one of my favorite purchases of the year.
